2. Is the product odorless, and does it release anything into the indoor air?

MKD products are odorless, and their E1 emission class indicates that the material emissions are very low or nearly nonexistent.

3. How much does the product soundproof?

MKD products have an excellent ability to absorb ambient noise, and their NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) value can be as high as 0.94. The NRC value can range from 0 (no absorption) to 1 (complete absorption) and indicates how much of the sound waves that hit the material surface are absorbed by it. NRC is an average of sound absorption at different frequencies. For example, an NRC value of 0.5 means that 50% of sound waves are absorbed by the material surface, while an NRC value of 0.8 means that 80% of sound waves are absorbed.

4. How can I create a quiet acoustic environment in a room?

To calm down a reverberant space, acoustic material should cover at least 1/6 of all room surfaces. The overall solution matters, and we recommend using MKD products as part of a comprehensive sound-absorbing interior design.

5. How is the product attached?

We recommend attaching the product to a clean and dry wall surface using the strong double-sided adhesive tape provided with the product. Please note that when removing the product, the wall surface may be affected, so plan carefully where you want to place the product.
